Terms of Service — SML YouTube Uploader

The service

The SML YouTube Uploader ("the Service") is a private software tool designed, operated, and used solely by Script Master Labs LLC ("we", "us"). The Service uploads video files to our own YouTube channel through Google's official YouTube Data API, acting only on the instruction of the channel owner. The Service is hosted at sml-youtube-uploader.onrender.com.

Single user; no public access

The Service has exactly one user: the owner of the YouTube channel it uploads to. It is not a public product. It offers no accounts, no sign-ups, and no access of any kind to any other person. The upload endpoint is gated by a private operator key held only by the owner; requests without that key are rejected.

What the Service uploads

The Service uploads only the owner's own original videos, together with the titles, descriptions, tags, and privacy settings the owner supplies, to the owner's own YouTube channel. It does not upload, download, access, or modify any other person's videos, channel, account, or data.

Ownership of content

All video content and metadata passed through the Service remains the property of its owner. The Service claims no right, title, interest, or license in that content beyond what is technically necessary to transmit it to YouTube at the owner's instruction. Uploaded files are held only in temporary storage during an upload and are deleted immediately afterward.

Data practices

We do not sell personal information. We do not share Google user data with any third party, and we do not use Google user data for advertising. The Service's handling of information received from Google APIs is described in our Privacy Policy, which also describes the OAuth credential the Service stores and how the owner can revoke the Service's access at any time.

Acceptable use

The Service is used only in compliance with the YouTube Terms of Service and the YouTube API Services Terms of Service. It performs no circumvention of YouTube features, no downloading of content, no scraping, and no manipulation of metrics.

Provided as-is

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is an internal tool; it carries no service-level commitment. Because the Service has no users other than its operator, these terms govern the operator's own use only.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. The current version will always be posted with its effective date.
