Privacy Policy — SML YouTube Uploader
Published by Script Master Labs LLC · Effective October 30, 2026
The SML YouTube Uploader ("the App") is a private, single-purpose tool operated by Script Master Labs LLC ("we", "us"). It uploads videos to our own YouTube channel, on our own instruction, using the YouTube Data API. It is not a public product, it has no other users, and it does not offer accounts or sign-ups to anyone else.
What the App does
When the channel owner instructs it to, the App sends a video file — with its title, description, tags, and privacy setting — to the owner's own YouTube channel through Google's official YouTube Data API, and reads back basic channel information to confirm the upload. That is the App's entire function.
Information the App handles
Google authorization credentials. The App stores an OAuth refresh token issued to the channel owner, kept as a private environment credential on our hosting provider. It is used only to perform the owner's uploads. We never see or store the owner's Google password; sign-in happens entirely through Google's consent screen.
Video content and metadata. The video files and the titles, descriptions, and tags the owner supplies for upload pass through the App to YouTube. Uploaded files are held only in temporary storage during the upload and are deleted immediately afterward.
Channel data read back. Using read-only access, the App may read the owner's own channel and video information (such as video IDs and upload status) solely to confirm that an instructed upload completed.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share Google user data with any third party. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read Google user data except the channel owner operating his own uploads. The App accesses no other person's YouTube account, channel, or data — it works only on the owner's own channel, with the owner's own authorization.
Limited use
The App's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. API access is used only to provide the upload function described on this page.
Data retention and revocation
The OAuth refresh token is retained only while the App is in service and is deleted when the App is retired or authorization is revoked. The owner can revoke the App's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends the App's ability to act on the channel. Temporary upload files are deleted as soon as each upload finishes.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. The current version will always be posted at this URL with its effective date.
