ScriptMasterLabs.com · x402 Index Health
Which x402 discovery indexes are alive — and who is actually listed in them?
A public, read-only probe of every x402 facilitator discovery index Script Master Labs can reach, run on a daily schedule and published with its timestamps. Last full probe: Nov 3, 2026, 10:41 AM EST.
The direct answer: as of the Nov 3, 2026, 10:41 AM EST probe, 5 of 6 tracked indexes answered. Script Master Labs operates two of them itself — OMNIGATE's discovery index and the 402Proof sidecar's — listing 143 resources between them, every one catalogued because a settlement ran through an SML facilitator. SML resources also sit inside other operators' indexes from settlements through those rails — 177 strict rows in Coinbase CDP's Bazaar alone, out of 107,465 resources catalogued there. Nobody cross-posts anybody: each index is its own shelf, and presence on a shelf is not demand — it is proof a payment settled.
The indexes, as probed

| Ultravioleta DAO Ultravioleta DAO's facilitator discovery index — a community facilitator's catalog of settled resources. SML held 55 rows here on 2026-10-24; the presence has since lapsed to zero — listing rot, observed on our own rows. Live |

| thirdweb thirdweb's facilitator index — the largest in SML's October 2, 2026 survey (33,352 resources then), exposed through thirdweb's own API surface rather than a spec-shaped public endpoint. Not probed |
https://api.thirdweb.com | — | — | — | No public /discovery/resources endpoint on record in SML's files — not probed. Count shown is the dated October 2, 2026 survey figure, not a live read. |
A row counts as an SML row in a third-party index only under the strict rule: the row's payment terms name an SML fleet wallet and the resource sits on an SML host. Loose matches (a foreign service that merely shares a word with one of ours) are never counted. In SML's own two indexes, every listed resource is counted, because the index itself is the facilitator's own settlement record.
How this probe works
Every index above is read the same way an agent would read it: a plain GET on its public /discovery/resources endpoint, paginated to the end — full reads, not samples. The probe is read-only: it makes no payments, triggers no settlements, and lists nobody. Probe cadence is daily; each row carries its own probe time because indexes refresh on their own clocks and a stale row is shown as stale, not hidden. The full dated probe record — endpoints, windows, counts, and the one index we cannot probe — is kept with this page's build record.
Presence is not demand
A listing proves exactly one thing: a payment for that resource settled through that facilitator, end to end — the 402 challenge was answered, the signature verified, the funds moved. It does not prove a second wallet ever paid, and most listed resources across these indexes have two payers or fewer in any 30 days. The metric that means anything commercially is unique paying wallets over time, and no index publishes it. Script Master Labs does not manufacture it either: no self-payments are fired to inflate payer counts, here or anywhere else. Get listed in the two indexes on this page that we run
Script Master Labs runs two of the facilitators above, so two of these shelves are ours:
- OMNIGATE — settles USDC on Base and Arc. Facilitator fee: 0.005 USDC flat per settlement, from the first settlement — no free allowance. Discovery index: mcp-x402.onrender.com/discovery/resources.
- 402Proof — settles the XRP Ledger, Xahau and Solana. Fees: XRPL invoice rail 0.01 in the invoice's own asset (RLUSD or USDC) per verified settlement, from the first settlement; Solana 0.005 USDC flat; Xahau 0.01 XAH flat for third-party settlements. Facilitator services never take custody of seller funds. Discovery index: four02proof-x402-v2-xrpl.onrender.com/discovery/resources.
Settle one real payment for your resource through either facilitator and the resource is catalogued in that facilitator's index automatically — the same settlement-as-listing rule every other index on this page runs, except this shelf is ours. How the fleet got here: We went from asking to be listed to running the index. The full seller offer — the fee on every rail and the exact first step for each facilitator — is at Settle through SML. The full SML catalog — every API, MCP server, book and kit — is at scriptmasterlabs.com/sml-products, and the settlement-verified resource directory is at scriptmasterlabs.com/x402-directory.
Frequently asked questions
What is an x402 discovery index?
A discovery index is the public catalog a payment facilitator publishes of the paid resources whose settlements it has processed. There is no submission form: a resource appears when a payment for it settles through that facilitator carrying the discovery declaration, and each facilitator's index is independent — settling through one does not list you in another.
Does being listed in an index mean a service is selling?
No. Presence is not demand. A listing proves one thing — a settlement for that resource ran end-to-end through that facilitator at least once. The commercial metric is unique paying wallets over 30 days, which no index publishes; Script Master Labs says so on this page and in its own listings coverage rather than dressing presence up as traction.
How does a service get listed in Script Master Labs' own indexes?
Settle a payment for the resource through an SML facilitator. OMNIGATE settles USDC on Base and Arc for a flat 0.005 USDC per settlement from the first settlement — no free allowance. 402Proof settles the XRP Ledger, Xahau and Solana rails (XRPL invoice rail: 0.01 in the invoice's asset per verified settlement; Solana: 0.005 USDC flat; Xahau: 0.01 XAH flat for third-party settlements). The settled resource then appears in that facilitator's /discovery/resources index automatically.
How often is this page updated?
The probe runs daily. Every row on this page carries its own probe time, and the underlying counts come from full pagination reads of each index — never samples, never the index operator's marketing page.
