The test replays 41,158 setup occurrences across 395 tickers over daily bars from 2022-05-11 to 2026-10-22. Each setup is measured against a same-day random pick of the same stocks, net of 0.1% round-trip costs. Verdicts come only from the out-of-sample period (2025-01-10 onward; the first 60% of history is in-sample). PROVEN requires an out-of-sample edge above zero with t ≥ 2.5 and a positive in-sample edge.

Does the backtest prove it beats the market?
No — and the page does not claim that. Setups are measured against a same-day random pick of the same stocks, after costs. Out-of-sample, A+ setups pooled beat that baseline by 0.462% per 10 trading days (t 3.43, 5,338 occurrences) with a PROMISING verdict, because the in-sample period was negative (−0.103%). Two narrower filters — A+ bullish only (+0.799%, t 4.61) and A+ with the SPY 200-day trend (+0.723%, t 4.41) — did earn PROVEN. Research on completed daily bars is not financial advice, and past results do not guarantee future results.
What happens at expiry or on a refund?
At expiry the bot removes the role automatically; there is nothing to cancel because nothing renews. On a refund, role time is recomputed from your remaining passes and the role is removed if none remain.
