Preliminary Passport + badge
A successful check receives a deterministic passport ID and an SVG evidence badge for the current observed state. V1 runtime cache is preliminary and ephemeral, not a permanent ledger yet.
Truth-separated evidence
A 402 challenge is not settlement. Authorization is not settlement. Settlement pending is not success. An SML probe is never independent demand.
Optional BYOK AI
AI is not required for the verification core. The planned Evidence Analyst will use a user-provided key and may explain established evidence, but it will never create or upgrade evidence status.
